The treatment
When it comes to excess perspiration treatments, our physicians, Dr. Briskin and Dr. Leybel, use their expertise in identifying and treating contributing glands to achieve maximum effectiveness.
At Aesthetic Excellence MD, we use Botox and Myobloc to combat excess perspiration. Botox and Myobloc produce similar results; however, Myobloc has been proven to last longer than Botox.
Prior to procedures, the area is first treated with a topical numbing agent to reduce any patient discomfort. Myobloc and Botox are administered as an injectable using a fine needle.
Excess perspiration treatments generally show their effects within two weeks of the procedure. You can expect Myobloc to last slightly over 4 months. Botox lasts up to 3 months. Remember to ask about our rewards program so that you can get discounts on recurring treatments!
