Each product produces different results. For instance, if you are looking to gradually replace lost collagen and use one product to address a variety of areas in the face to restore facial volume and decrease the appearance of facial wrinkles, we might suggest Sculptra. This is a biostimulant that gradually and naturally promotes collagen production to rebuild lost collagen through a series of customized treatments. It not only brings back volume, but also gives your skin a healthier glow! If you are looking to restore isolated mid-cheek volume or reshape the face in a subtle way, we can consider using a product like Juverderm Voluma. Prior to any procedures, the area is first treated with a topical numbing agent to reduce discomfort. Fillers and biostimulants are administered as an injectable with the use of a fine needle or cannula, depending on the procedure, area injected, and product being used. At times we apply vibration devices on bony prominence to aid in patient comfort. Ice packs can be used before, and after the procedures which helps decrease bruising and aids in patient comfort.

MINT threads are highly customizable and can be applied all over the face and neck. Think of this as a minimally invasive facelift without the risks or general anesthesia. The threads can also be used to tighten areas of loose skin on the cheeks and to gradually fill fine lines and add volume to areas such as the nasolabial folds.

The amount of time it takes to see the final results varies depending on the treatment being used. Full effects of a filler are seen immediately whereas biostimulants produce gradual results over the series of treatments. You can expect filler and Sculptra/Radiesse treatments to last up to two years and the MINT threads to last about a year.
